Ford 0 Posted February 22, 2005 Sounds very nice! Has it got FVWSH/all MOTS etc so that mileage can be varified? £5,500 sounds like a very good price for a late VR in such good condition and with those miles, price could be closer to £6k me recs. You buying or selling?
nogrille 0 Posted February 22, 2005 I need to double check on the history. I'm thinking about buying it but need to get an insurance quote!
Ford 0 Posted February 22, 2005 Sounds like a beaut! I would snap it up if you can get it for £5.5k. Good luck with insurance...
Phil K 0 Posted February 22, 2005 nogrille, hello mate! so, you're planning to get a C then? take it you won't want the BBS rims off mine then
DanA 0 Posted February 22, 2005 I paid a lot more than £5500 for mine! Although it did have lower milage... As Ford says: if you can backup the milage with FVWSH and all MOTS you could be getting a bargain! Have you been to look at it... whats the bodywork like ?? nogrille 0 Posted February 23, 2005 Hey Phil - I'd given up on your BBS a long time ago! ;) I haven't been to look at it yet, hoping to at the weekend. I've got one pic of it and it looks mint. Who's everyone insured with?
Jimbo 0 Posted February 23, 2005 Hey Phil - I'd given up on your BBS a long time ago! ;) I haven't been to look at it yet, hoping to at the weekend. I've got one pic of it and it looks mint. Who's everyone insured with? Try Lancaster theyre really good, know what theyre talking about too as they are classic and unusual car specialists. Will do the Agreed value, recovery, limited mileage etc etc etc Ive been with various company's over the years and so far they definately offer the best package at the best price! TomB 0 Posted February 26, 2005 nogrille, don't get insured with Highway (through a broker), they're cheap for a reason.
Phil K 0 Posted February 26, 2005 Nogrille... I'm with Atlas Insurance Services in Guildford and they have always given me a good quote (which is good as I have a slightly colourful driving history  ) They were a bit slow sending my certificate and had to send three cover notes before it arrived! Other than that I've had no problems with them and they came in a lot cheeper (£500+) than anyone else I tried... don't know their number off hand but can dig it out for ya' if you're interested 8)
