door pin broke or lose???

Ok guys my door pin is lose or broke, but the thing is that i got a idea of how to take off the door cover but has anyone got any pics of how to go about this one i dont want to break anything. the door pin is conected to a piece of wire and the whole thing come lose???

 

anyhelp or advise will be most apresiated. :wink:

if you do a search to find out how to get the door cards off, thats a start. Next, the door pin is connected to a rod with a thread on the end (the end that the door pin screws onto). This rod goes straight down to the solenoid. Best to get the cards off first then take a look to see whats wrong. It'll be immediately obvious!

My door-pin fell off when I removed the door cards, and I spent ages trying to figure out how it went back in.

 

If yours has fallen off then you need to fit in back into the little white lever that sits inside the door. It simply clips in, with the right-angled bit located in a hole, but its really fiddly.
