hi guys n gals

 

just about to buy a rado, probably 1.8 8v or 16v for budget reasons..

 

are there any usual problems or concerns with either of these variations..

 

its probably a dumb question and wont make a difference to buying one, but i just want to know how much out of the budget to allow for repairs..

 

+ what sort of power can be had from the 1.8's

Gucci, they didn't make a 1.8 8V other than the supercharged G60... ;)

so any 8v would be a 2.0???

 

im waiting for a cheque to arrive ( hopefully this weekend ), there is a couple of nice ones on autotrader which might still be around when the cash is.......

If it just says 8v then it'll be a 2.0 8v.

 

The other options were...

 

1.8 8v G60 (usually called just G60)

1.8 16v

2.0 8v

2.0 16v

2.9 VR6 (or 2.8 VR6 in the USA/Canada which was called the SLC)
