Bally 0 Posted April 12, 2005 I'd go for 195/40/16's.. stretched!!!
too hot 0 Posted April 12, 2005 How stretched will the 205`s look. I really don`t want an undertyred look with too much rim sticking out. Also are there any problems associated with fitting 8" rims. Do I need to consider having the arches rolled I have Fk coilovers which I am also fitting will these affect the clearance of the wheels. Anyone got good pics of these wheels fitted to a C
chrishill 0 Posted April 12, 2005 have a look for one of my posts titled 'which forum member' as i was looking for a picture of a silver C with design 90's and someone posted it. AFAIK 8" with coilovers should be fine, depending on offset. The problem with the width is that they can catch the struts and fitting coilovers solves that problem. Kevhaywire maintains that 8" with an ET40 offset fits the VR perfectly without coilovers, I'll be finding out myself soon as I think I'm going to go for some 17x8's. Majik 0 Posted April 12, 2005 The width of the hub adapters also needs to be taken into consideration.
