Locking wheel nuts

I need to buy some locking wheel nuts. Has anyone bought theirs from Halfrauds? If so are they any good?

i wouldnt bother with anything other than the paddy hopkirk ones, the spline one are too easy to get around and the ones with 3 holes are useless as the key allways breaks

i got mine from demon tweeks as they are local to me, i think halfrauds sell them but i might be wrong

yeah halfords sell the mcguard too, just be careful not to let anyone use a buzz gun on them as the centre with the `key` on it will strip out!

friend of mine stripped out a McGard key too - using a manual bar wrench - gotta make sure you hold the key flat agaianst the bolt head!

 

You can also get high-security McGards now I hear - apparently the outer shroud spins for extra security

I run with Mcgards on my Corrados... Never had a problem with them, unlike the tri-lock style ones which I've had to drill 3 sets of 'em out when the keys broke... :roll: :mad:
