Red=Fast 0 Posted April 18, 2005 I got it in the mail a few weeks ago... Friday I stripped out my interior: I also found an easter egg in my car from the previous owner (I found it rather amusing): The next day and 10 hours later... I'm stoked. dinkus 10 Posted April 18, 2005 I got it in the mail a few weeks ago... I also found an easter egg in my car from the previous owner (I found it rather amusing):  Superb! I like the little side note pointing out the relay too  Oh and cool cage, you gonna track it then, or is it just for show? Either way, I think you win the prize for the most difficult to get in and out of Corrado of all time :)
coolrado 0 Posted April 18, 2005 could be a new solution to the saggy seat bolster though
Red=Fast 0 Posted April 18, 2005  Superb! I like the little side note pointing out the relay too  Oh and cool cage, you gonna track it then, or is it just for show? Either way, I think you win the prize for the most difficult to get in and out of Corrado of all time :) Haha yeah the only reason that is there is because the car had the European spec seatbelts installed and the US automatic belts removed. That was just the remains of it just in case someone would want to re-install them again later. I am going to start doing track events and autocross now that I have the cage installed. I have been waiting to start doing events until I had a cage installed to keep my parents happy and myself safe. It probably is the most difficult to get in and out of. YAY go me! On the plus side, it isn’t anymore difficult to get in since I got my seats in. I think the cage actually helped make it a bit easier to get in and out because I can use it to brace myself while getting in/out of it. =] I will post some pictures up as soon as I finish with the interior work. I hope to have it all done by this time next month because there is a show on the 22nd. Thanks guys! Keep the comments coming.
dinkus 10 Posted April 18, 2005 Ah sweet 8) Make sure you get some padding on the cage tho, otherwise you'll go through crash helmets like nobody's business... ;)
Red=Fast 0 Posted April 18, 2005 haha thats the plan! These pictures were taken the day I got it back from the garage. Its going to be painted flat black (like my wheels) and the have the padding installed on the side bars and the main hoop. I also have to figure out the best way to make my interior completly flat and carpeted.
bcstudent 0 Posted April 18, 2005 Is that a mini lava-lamp plugged into that electrical socket in the first pic?

Baz2004 0 Posted April 19, 2005 Nice cage ! What’s the track scene like over on the west coast? Is there many meets/circuits? Is there a large corrado following over there?
Bojmobile 0 Posted April 21, 2005 Looking sweet mate.
Joe M 0 Posted April 21, 2005 Nice, where did you get the cage from? The usual company for getting them here doesnt seem to do them for the corrado.
Red=Fast 0 Posted April 21, 2005 The track scene over here is pretty good considering we have a couple famous tracks near by (Laguna Seca and Thunder hill) but yeah, there are lots of day/weekend events for anywhere from $150-$350 for each event. I got the cage from http://www.safedrives.com. They have lots of sweet stuff on that site. They are based from PA (USA) I believe. But yeah that’s where I got it. They had a group buy a couple weeks ago. Great customer service. Thanks guys! Yesterday I put most of the interior back in. I still need to cut a few pieces of carpet and put my subs back in.
