rossy t 0 Posted April 25, 2005 sounds expensive mate, how much was it chris?
chrishill 0 Posted April 25, 2005 well I've got chris's old car and it was already fitted...so free! :) you'll have to ask them for an exact price as i'm not sure but they offer them on an exchange+cash basis and its going to do you far more favours than chopping the gearstick down yourself
Chris VR6nos 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Thanks there Chris Just received a pm! £45 exchange inc postage and you can specify how agressive or mild you want the throw If it's not right and you want it shorter or longer just send it back and it will be adjusted and taylored accordingly free of charge. dan 0 Posted April 25, 2005 You can thread your stick while its on the car (use a M12 Die) then cut off the top of the gearstick with a haccsaw... Very easy to do... it works, its quick & its free. Its up to you
Chris VR6nos 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Yep, that's the propper way to adjust the leverage  Chris
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 25, 2005 LOL, I think Dan's suggestion relates to shortening of the rod for the knob, rather than reducing throw.
