long, straight, wide private road needed for tests

bit of a long shot really...

 

want to conduct some tests with a standard S3 vs a chiped S3

 

trying to be all grown up about it an find a private road or airfield or track instead of a quiet dual carridgeway

 

anyone know of such a place in east anglia??

Bentwaters this Sarturday/Sunday :wink:

 

There's Parham airfield out toward Framlingham and Raydon airfield near Capel St Mary. There are a few other places too but can't remember them at the mo. The old A12 is good in the small hours. One stretch of it isn't used at all and would be good for a 0-60 as it's quite short.

Oakington airfield just north of cambridge, might not be big enough and the surface is quite rough / loose but its good fun.

A word of warning mate, don't do any testing for a week or so as suffolk police are out in force sticking camera's up for this weekend...

cheers.... i didnt want to do it on public roads anyway so speed shouldnt be an issue
