Just need to check this with you guys, whilst the car is on ground undo the top nut with a swan neck spanner whilst holding the centre shaft with a allen key. jack the car up and undo the bottom bolts?

Yep, or you can do the whole lot in the air

Make sure you get your camber and tracking done afterwards because those bottom two bolts adjust the camber ;)

It would be a good idea to replace the hub/strut bolts and nuts with new ones.

I'd do it the other way round. Jack the car up, remove the wheel, undo bottom bolts, then undo the top bolts.

If you undo the top bolts first, you could end up jacking up the car for ages before the wheel lifts off the ground
