Chrome rear corrado badge OR chrome paint

Does anybody know where I can get a chrome corrado rear badge from as they have been discontinued by VW?

 

If not, does anybody know of a good chrome paint.

 

I have bought some Plasti-Kote stuff but when painted, looks nothing like chrome - more like a dull silver.

as far as i know there is no such thing as chrome paint i wish there was though as i could use it to re do the reflectors in my headlights

chroming is an electroplating process as far as i know and quite difficult to find someone to chrome plate plastic

try gsf or ecp for the chrome badges

ECP/GSF: They don't have any, because there are no more.

Trimsport make up obsolete badges in situations like this, but I think they were reluctant due to mold making cost last time someone approached them about it.

I've been after one of these too, mine wasn't too badly worn, but I was exploring getting another. Then I got rear ended whilst stationary at lights. Next time I looked at the rear, the badge was gone. So p!ssed off, I'd just had a Swissol valet too.

 

3rd party's insurance is paying up for the scuffs/dinks to rear and exhaust, but where the hell is the garage going to get a chrome badge from?

The last one I saw on ebay went for £36, not bad but it was slightly worn.

There must be someone out there who can assist?
