If you could.......

Trade in your beloved C what would you trade it for?(or buy new)

I recently become aware of a Nissan Skyline GtiR for sale but don't know if I could part with the G60 for it :?

Any ideas?

Burn the Heretic!

(just kidding!)

Seriously though, I have already looked at the other cars available and there's really nothing out there that does it for me like the C does...

Furthermore, since Andi was kind enough to take me for a spin in his VR, my mind's made up, that'll be the next one for me 8) (when finances permit)

The problem is (at least for me), that they don't really make coupe's like the C anymore (assuming that's your thing of course!), they're usually too big (Hyundai), wimpy* engine (Celica) or handle like a biscuit tin on ice (mentioning no names)

another 2p

I guess the acid test is the test drive... I was alll set to buy a 16V Mk3 until I saw the C, took it for a test drive & bought it on the spot!

*before anyone says, I know they do one with 190bhp, but I prefer my torque/power throughout the rev range rather than just at the top, maybe I should have said inflexible rather than wimpy... :?:

I'd like a Corrado first! :D

But if I DID have a Corrado, and I was going to trade it in... Nissan Skyline R34 GTR would be pretty darn nice, or maybe something crazy like a Lotus Carlton :)

Hehehe!

Only thinking about it......in the way a rabbit thinks about those really bright things coming towards it-briefly. :D

Got a Golf R32 to drool over at the VW dealers too. They're getting very annoyed with having to clean all the dribble off of it

Funny you should mention a Lotus Carlton cos I've just seen one up here tonight.First ever!

Realistically I'd try keep the G60 and get a VR and save up and get something else like Skyline or a manual BMW 850. I'm hoping to make lots of money in the future (arent we all?) :p

Ive liked them for many years, since before they became common. They are 2 cylinders short of an engine though so probably something more like an M5 Nurburgring Edition. 8)

lol, would have said an M3 Evo but u would get mistaken for a dealer driving one of those about here.

Maybe an Alpina 3 series or something. Indecisevness like this is why I bought another Corrado, I knew I wouldnt go wrong. Probably when im in the position where I could change cars I will just go for a charger for the vr. :p

E-36 M3 evo would like one of them too........but apart from the "dealer" side of it......the basic coupe is too easy to turn into a M3 look-a-like

quite like biggrim's idea though a nice BMW 850 csi..............just shudder to think how much they would be if things went wrong.....nevermind 5.0litre fuel economy

at the moment there's just too much older german stuff thats affordable now.............80's 911's are in the price bracket i had for when i bought my storm

and audi S3's are getting cheaper and cheaper too.......seen one up here with 96k miles and only 3yrs old for £12k

even my old favourite the porsche 928 s4 is frequently under the £10k bracket too......and thats for good FPSH ones

BMW E-30 M3's are also another favourite of mine

Wouldnt mind an older porsche myself, my uncle recently bought a 944 turbo in red and even though its probably the most common porsche its stilll a great car.

The 850 is a great looking car I think, but even though the engine is huge (v12, 850 csi model a 5.5litre or something?) the car would probably be too big and heavy, great for cruising though.

E30 m3, if only they made rhd.

Audis are smart though, an s3 would always be an option but dont think it would be as fun as the C.

I'm never going to sell my C, but live in the hope that one day a TVR Cerbera AJP V8 will sit along side it in my garage.
