A face full of coolant.

No, although I was thinking along those lines. Being an idiot mechanic as I am, how easy is it to do?

fairly easy on the 8v...not sure about the 16v but it should be fairly simple...u just need a large socket.....its doing it wothout loosing loads of coolant is the trick.....

 

and byr the way.....do it when the cars cold ....you wouldnt want a face full of coolant :wink:

Spoke to the garage today who think it's the head gasket, but that still doesn't explain why my brake fluid was boiling in the reservoir even though my brake were fine. Anyone?
