handbrake handle removal

bonjour.

 

i cant get me knob off!... :(

 

i want to adjust my handbrake surround and as far as i can see i need to get the handle on the end of the handbrake off to get the handbrake cover off to get to the surround.

 

anyone know how to get the buggers off?...ive been sweating over mine for ages!.

theres a little plastic pin on the underside of the handle,take that out then it should slide off

if you need to take the full handbrake tunnel cover off there is another screw at the front of the ashtray (you'll need to pull this out).

 

it is a pain coz u need a super small screwdriver (philips)
