Headlining sagging...

Recommended Posts

My headlining has recently started sagging in a couple of places - the fabric has started to come away from the headlining card, if you get my drift - and I was hoping that there's some way of re-glueing it back up...

Has anyone had this, and has anyone got any suggestions for how to sort it? I was thinking about trying to kind of spray/inject some sort of mounting spray glue behind the fabric to stick it back up...

Cheers guys!

This usually happens in cars that have been smoked in alot...

Spray glue may do it but to be honest it may be easier to just find a good one from a scrappy, I think some passats also got the black lining also...

ashvdub, Passat and C rooflinings are very different in terms of shape...

Dave - you could always park it on the roof and then the sagging won't notice ;) But seriously I'd have a chat with the valet lads as they may have some tricks or may offer to meet you half way on the cost of a new one seeing as this has happened since they cleaned it :?
