Fuses

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have used the SEARCH but can't find the answer to this.

Is the Sunroof run from the same fuse as the spoiler?

I have a broken spoiler, it is half up (or half down) depending on your point of view!

It won't work off the switch under the dash either.

I have just relalised that I have also lost the sunroof, it won't tilt or slide.

Both were OK before, fully functioning, so I am guessing that I have blown a fuse?

I can't see any reference to what fuse drives the sunroof.

I saw that the spoiler uses 2 different fuses, but I still have dash warning lights working, and interior lights.....

Help!

I have the fuse box cover with me, but I can't make any sense out of that!

I will have to wait until tonight to dig out my owner's manual....

Cheers anyway.

It sounds like it could be a fuse anyway...if the sunroof is totally dead.....

Thanks for that Corradowales,

I saw that post when I searched....

There is no mention of which fuse drives the sunroof, but it says that 2 seperate fuses drive the spoiler.

best thing to do is just check all fuses mate - wont takelong mabe 5 mins - dont forget the ones at the very top of the fuse box which were for optional extras, it wont be one of the top ones but it may cause outher things to go wronge if a strange fuse is blown lol , good lkuck

Just in case anyone else encounters the same problem, I will post my findings.

One fuse had blown, number 16, which is a 15A fuse.

This took out my sunroof and my rear spoiler.

The handbook said that this fuse was nothing to do with the sunroof, the sunroof is supposed to be fuse number 4.

But whatever, the sunroof wouldn't work until I replaced number 15.

All's well.
