g60 owners log book ??

alright guys,just wondering what your cars are desribed as on the log book?

 

mine seems to say,

 

vw

corrado

coupe

 

16 valve :?

 

i wish!

same as yours only G60 at the end... on both of 'em... 8) (for now at least... :twisted: :lol: )

ahh,so it should actually say g60 :(

 

how would i go about getting this corrected?

 

ive yet to send the document off in my name as i lost it for a while!

there's a bit on the back to change details IIRC... I've not looked at the new forms properly yet though, so I could be wrong... :?

Are you sure it's a G60 from the factory? Just wondering if someone's converted it at some point.

thats what mine reads as it used to be a valver,its sounds that your car has been converted,you can change the engine number but not the vehicle type when doing a conversion.

when i did mine i was under the immpression that i could change the type "16v to g60" but you can't so what i have a 16v corrado with g60 running gear, but says 16v on log book.

I tryed everything mate and the dvla would not budge

i was thinking the same guys :roll:

 

but on further investigation,the vin number is also wrong which is why its showing as a valver i reckon,phew!

 

ive got every mot from new and the vin numbers are all the same and match the one on the car. :D

 

spoke to dvla and they told me to pop a letter in with the v5 explaining the 2 incorrect parts.
