brookescourt 0 Posted July 21, 2003 I assume the filter and hose will fit without problem but I am not too sure about the heatshield part, does anyone know if they are the same size/shape? Thanks in advance, Rob.
vr6storm 0 Posted July 21, 2003 not being funny here  but try phoning Jabba themselves and asking them if it will or won't

Banana Man 0 Posted July 21, 2003 The jabba induction kit for the golf ralley is exactly the same as the corrado G60 version to my knoledge Rob, as the ralley and the corrado are very similar apart from things like the brake servo and steering column are on the other side in the ralley but that would have no affect on the induction side of things
vr6storm 0 Posted July 21, 2003 Isn't that what this forum is for? true but at the same time its not exactly the best place to ask if a golf rallye induction kit's heatshield will fit a Corrado G-60 as i would imagine that there will be very few Corrado owners here that have owned a Golf rallye in the past and have swapped over the heatshield to their Corrado G-60...........as i said to rob i wasn't being funny........but jabbasport were only a phone call away and they would at least be able to confirm 100%
W3RKD 0 Posted July 21, 2003 heatshield from a rallye will not fit straight into a corrado...
brookescourt 0 Posted July 21, 2003 Thanks for the advice guys. The one I was offered is now on Ebay. Cheers, Rob.
16VG60 1 Posted July 22, 2003 Rob, With the money you get from selling this why not invest it back into your car and do the air box mod. This is a whole lot cheaper than an induction kit, does not require a heat shield and will not draw in hot engine bay air, will give a plentiful supply of cool air to your charger, and you will still get the induction roar as with the cone filter kits. If you are at all unsure about what needs to be done, then please contact me and i will be happy to talk you through this easily done DIY mod.
macca 0 Posted July 22, 2003 16VG60 Would the air box mod apply to a Vr, if so could you talk me through it. Does it show any performance gains? or just sounds good. Cheers Guy
GazzaG60 0 Posted July 22, 2003 ive tried a few airbox mods and am yet to get induction kit response. the induction kit noise is on the loud side but response-except in hot weather. run the airbox then.
