R1-Jay 0 Posted August 1, 2005 Probably a really simple question, i should be getting my C within the week but it has a broken drivers headlight. As its a 1990 G plate, is it a new headlight or a replacement lens?
dinkus 10 Posted August 1, 2005 Replacement lenses can be had for around £30 from GPC or ECP. It might look a bit odd if you just replace one though, as it will be much cleaner and clearer than the old one.
bcstudent 0 Posted August 1, 2005 I replaced just one headlight after a front end crunch in my 1990 Corrado 18 months ago. If you were looking closely you could see the difference but, ultimately, it looked fine.
dinkus 10 Posted August 1, 2005 Yeah, it depends on how old and battered your current lenses are, but you can certainly just replace the glass. Edit: Oh and apparently the early-shape lenses are cheaper than £30! :)
R1-Jay 0 Posted August 1, 2005 i'll wait until i pick the car up and look at it as its been standing in a garage for 18 months!
corradophil 3 Posted August 1, 2005 I have a N/S early headlamp glass which you can have for £10 + P&P. The glass lense is easy to change by the way.
