Lippy 0 Posted August 5, 2005 I want to give the interior a good clean out this weekend, but there is loads of crap down the sides of the seats. How do you remove them? and what tools do I need? I assume it is relatively straightforward? Cheers for any advice Lippy
mrbeige 0 Posted August 5, 2005 There is a little nut/bolt in the middle of the seat at the front underneath. Undo that and slide the seat all the way back until it comes out of runners. if you have electric/heated seats, I guess there is a little plug underneaf that needs to be discounected too, but I'm not sure on that as I've only got poverty spec seats! Blue_Joe 0 Posted August 5, 2005 It's Really easy. At the front of the subframe there is a sprung lever, if you pull that it will release the front of the seat. Then at the back remove the plastic guards over the runners, there is a little black rectangular clip holding it on. Once they are off just simply tilt the seat base back and slide the whole seat back and it's out.!!!!!! Simple as!
mrbeige 0 Posted August 5, 2005 Oh and you need to lift the lever to move the seat back in the normal way....
