Steering Wheel Judder under braking at high speed

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I've noticed that under braking from speed, i.e. coming off the motorway onto the slip road, my steering wheel is juddering a lot.

It doesn't have to be heavy braking - pedal to the floor - it is apparent under gentle braking, but always from speed.

I was thinking it could be warped discs but would it not judder all the time, braking at low speed, if that was the case ?

Any ideas what else it could be ?

I would imagine warped discs for sure.

I know for a fact mine are warped slightly and I have the same issue.

At low speed it is not as noticable as hard breaking from speed mind.

i recently had a problem where the brakes where juddering when braking from high speed but wasnt really noticeable at lower speeds, it turned out to be a badly cracked disk
