Lightened VR6 flywheel

Recommended Posts

Im seriously thinking about a fidanza, but not sure about the everyday drivability of it. I've heard alot of stories about it being a bit of 'an arse' due to it being soo light.. SO, I think I'd feel better going for a comprimise and getting the OE one lightened to be the best of both standard and Fidanza..

Where can I take/send my flywheel to, to have this done PROPERLY?

Needs to happen pretty fast as car is ready to go

Thankssss

I have a lightened OE flywheel on my 24v and its excellent. The engine spins up lovely and there is no noticeable downside to it.

I got mine done at magnum engines in Poole. Not exactly local to you, but they are good and quick.

I'm not going to waste time typing here!

Use the search and everything you want to know about EXACTLY the same thing is there and was discussed in the last couple of weeks to death!

I have a 6lb one (2.5Kg) and it's fine, check it out.

Mine is the Eurosport one

I was tempted by the Eurosport one, but just not sure if its tooo light, Id be interested in knowing if its safe to take the OE one to 10/12lb's?

The Fidanza one is the same materials and weight as my Eurosport one so either is a good choice and they aren't too light but i'd feel cheated if i'd went for a 12lb lightened FW
