OK VR6 0 Posted September 2, 2005 I want to remove the black trim that runs along both doors. When I pull it it feels like paint might come off too. StormchargedVR6 0 Posted September 3, 2005 They come off easy, hairdryer or heatgun. Its the tape they leave behind thats he problem. You're referring to the ones under the door I presume, which you dont see anyway? i think he's talking about the strips that run along the outside of the car,it makes the car look a whole lot sleaker just have to be even more carefull when going to the super market,park somewhere out of the way not near any other cars :!: when i got a quote for some paint work done and he said he'd colour code them for no extra cost,anyone got any pics of the stips when colour coded?
