Will a steering wheel boss for MK2 Golf fit Corrado ?

As the title says, does anyone know if a steering wheel boss from a MK2 Golf will fit the Corrado ?

the later mk2 boss's will fit,im not 110% sure but i think its from 88 ??? onwards the mk2's have the same size spline.

 

anyone confirm?

depends on the corrado, very early c's have the same column spline count as the mk2, later c's have an adaptor pressed on which has more splines. These adaptors can be pulled off with a puller.

Yeah, it should do then, as long as it's one of the larger-splined bosses iirc...

same with the mk2's,just not sure on the year of when they used the larger pushed on spline.

 

if your c does have the smaller spline,the larger one can be bought from vw and fitted.

 

for example,the wheel and boss from my 1992 cab fit straight into my 92 c,so if the mk2 boss is a late one,it 'should' fit straight on.

 

im just not 110%
