timmaaah 0 Posted September 21, 2005 Hello everybody - I'm prolly gonna uprate my headlight loom - but I'm a bit confused with regarding measering the voltage before and after. I'm not a div, but I can't for the life of me work out where to take my readings from. Do take it I take a reading direct off the battery, and compare it to a reading taken from the connectors on the bulb's + and -? I think I had too much beer last night, and I'm just confusing myself!! Any pointers would be really helpful - cheers! :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bix 0 Posted September 21, 2005 You put 1 probe on the positive battery terminal, and the other on the bulb positive terminal, but that will only give you the volt drop in the positive wire, there will also be volt drop in the negative! So simply measur the voltage at the bulb and subtract it from the voltage at the battery! :) EDIT: as you say 8) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
