NickVR6 0 Posted September 22, 2005 Before I start I must defend this question by saying its this or no C. I need to have a car seat for my 14 month old. this will be very occasional but I will need to have the option! The only way I can stomalk the thought is to have either A. Recaro writen on it somewhere B. Some trace element of leather somewhere in the mix. C. A 007 esq ejector seat botton incase of car sickness Somebody on here must have gone through this whether they are willing to admit it or not. Can anyone recommend such an item that will fit in a C and look half sporty, god! Detailed picture of said problem attached
veeDuB_Rado 0 Posted September 22, 2005 I remember that bloke from the TV show whereas he had to sell his rado because a baby seat couldnt fit or something :S
NickVR6 0 Posted September 22, 2005 No way man, i'm not going down like that! Its a question of priorities, as i have had to explain to the better half. I need practical, cheap and reliable transport to get to work, so the C is staying.

MoonlightVR 0 Posted September 22, 2005 Recaro Start mate. Not cheap, but a superb bit of kit (what else from Recaro?!) Covers your child from 9 months right up to 12 years old, so while intially you might find a cheaper seat, it probably won't cover the same age range so you'll have to buy another in a few years. h100vw 0 Posted September 23, 2005 We had a Corrado when the first nipper turned up. No problems fitting a seat in the C. They make nasty dents in your leather, so I'd release the belt when its not in use or take it out altogether. The lad I sold mine to had 2 kids and his wife ran everywhere in it. That Recaro is a smart looking seat, can't see a 12 year old consenting to riding in one though. Have a look on http://www.kiddicare.com http://www.kiddicare.com/icat/carseats They had a bogof on the last seat we bought. Which would have been great except I had got the same seat from Mothercare at full money  Gavin
woody 0 Posted September 23, 2005 My kiddie-wink sits in a baby seat in the back of my C. It all depends on whether the kiddie will sit in a seat which uses the normal seat belt accross the child (3 years and over) or whther the seat attaches to the seat belt and then the seat has a harness within it. I have the second and you have to watch out for the leather.
