Classic Green paint

Recommended Posts

It's now time for me to address the paint on my C,i've already left it too long.To anyone else its probably not too bad,but it's p*****g me off now.

Stone chips, scratches, scuffs, and a couple of chips on both doors are now rusting.I can't afford a full respray,so i've been to a few places to check out touch-ups and sprays, but no classic green to be found.Dragon green, yes, and every other shade of green imaginable. What's the best way to go about this people? I do have a few hundred to spend if neccesary. Will any garages be able to match my paint code? I know a factory finish is unreasonable, but i would like it to be as near as damn it.

Thanks.

any decent body shop should be able to match the paint easily, they will have access to all the correct codes to match the paint

Aye.

Surely just providing them with the VW paintcode from the sticker in the boot should be all you need? Any decent body shop should then be able to identify / match that paint..

My bro worked at a Ford dealer in the paint shop, he mixed some up for me no problem. He just needed the paint code as has been mentioned above.
