hello all is it possible to fit 6.5'' speakers in front doors i know that 5.25'' is standard size .was just wondering if anyone has moded to fit this size.if not realy possible to fit without much moding .i would like to fit component sets what does everyone recommend for around £50-£80.as i would like to get rid of the tinny sound.cheers briang60raddo. :lol:

if you're looking at 6.5" componants I used to have a set of magnat 216's in my astra that sounded great. Sold them now though. They're about £50 new.

You can buy speaker pods that will let you house 6.5"

I opted for the vibe sa50, they fit in the standard speaker pods and they have removable tweeters if wanted to use them as components, and they have great power handeling
