bristolbaron 10 Posted October 12, 2005 I've been told contrasting views by different wheel specialists: The spiggot rings don't carry load, they transfer it to the hub. You can't expect the cars weight to be held on just the bolts. Spiggot rings make no difference. When spacers are used the hub is generaly covered, and the wheel is bolted without.. this wouldnt be done if spiggot rings were needed. personal opinion.. no idea, but would always use em anyway, just in case!
