knocking through accelerator under load

Hi

Have been driving the beast pretty hard lately and doing a few

traffic light sprints and have noticed that I have been getting, on

some occasions, considerable knocking (amplified vibration) through

the accelerator pedal.

I do also get some vibration through the steering wheel when driving regularly at about 60mph.

Anyone got any ideas?

suspect either front or rear engine mounts

Yep i'd go with mounta too

Watch out for the front mount. If the lower half collapses, the engine will hit the bonnet!

 

There are a number of upgrade options on the market, which I would personally pursue before continuing with any full bore standing starts.
