North East respray recomendations??

My car is in desperate need of a respray, can anyone recommend a good bodyshop/sprayer in the north east please?

My mates a sprayer by trade(now fireman) he stll dose a few bits. Might be able to do a car, hes good and lives in Redcar. Want him to do mine but need other things first. i can all ways ask him if you like.

Chris- My VR is going in for a part respray at a place called J&B coachworks in houghton le spring. Its booked in for 16th september. I can get a price for you if you want when I drop ma car off :D . Otherwise I'll let you know how it looks

Thanks for the offer macca, not saying your mates not good, but I'd rather use a bodyshop.....just paranoid!

 

J&B sounds worth a try if you're getting yours done there it must have been a decent quote. I'll pay them a visit, cheers ice white socks

Take your point chris, this guy is really good a perfectionist, he has done some top notch work in the past, I'm hoping he will do my car. The last twice I used body shops, (small garages) they were booth shit jobs, I then decided to spray my own cars after that. I dont like 2 pack paints for the H&S side of things, would rather pay some one else now. Hope you get a good job done as theres nothing wosre than them rolling out your car, and been disapointed, been there.

Chris- I should have mentioned that its going in for insurance work so it may not be the cheapest place around :oops: . I would like to hear how you got on tho :) .

Can anybody recommend any bodyshops in the Darlington area? Would travel a little further afield if necessary but would prefer not to.

 

At the moment I'm just looking at getting the front bumper resprayed (following an incident with a paperboy & bike :mad: ) but will probably want other bits doing soon too. Anyone know how much a bumper respray is likely to cost from a decent place? And how good a match should it be possible to get on burgundy pearl?

cheapest place i found locally was abernerhy in sunderland, £600 for a full respreay and colour coding various bits. top job too.
