Easiest way to increase BHP on a 2l 16V?..............

I havent even got one yet, lol, but i have been a good boy and done my homework and i know that as standard a 2l 16V comes with 135BHP or there abouts.

 

What i want to know is the easiest (not necessarily cheapest tho!) way to increase BHP. After an uprated exhaust and air filter is there anything else i can do?

 

I'd like to get it to as close to 160 as poss!

KR inlet cam (from a 1.8 valver) - higher lift and longer duration than the 9A cam, can get them from about £15 2nd hand, and is reckoned to give anything between +10-15bhp... :)

scrap that idea and charge it or get a G60 tuning potential is massive and very cost effective too

Agreed. I love all Corrados but if power is important to you, buy a G60 or a VR6 :) wont cost you much more either.
