Blair 0 Posted January 9, 2006 I've got a few parts left over - found them in the shed yesterday, had forgotten about them! Thought I'd flog them on the 'boards here, as some of you might be interested: 1. Catalytic converter for a G60. 2. Rear silencer box for a G60. Bought it off ebay when I thought mine was going (it wasn't). Can't even remember how much I paid. 3. Roof rack for a Corrado. The Corrado isn't exactly designed to take roof racks, it has to be said - but sometimes needs must! It's a bit of a pain to fit on your own (one of those where if you don't have one side properly tight and you go to tighten the other side it pops off), but it works fine. Everything else went with the car... :( Any ideas? I think I paid James Renshaw £25 for the cat, does that sound about right? (Actually...now his car's been on the cover of PVW, that cat must be worth at least £50 ;) )
scarlett 0 Posted January 9, 2006 ooohhh... i know someone who might want the roofrack if you do decide on a price...!
Blair 0 Posted January 9, 2006 Well, if nobody is forthcoming with any suggestions, perhaps the potential buyer might like to suggest a price :) Since we're not in the market area, I'm hoping that's not against the rules!
Trig 0 Posted January 9, 2006 I think it is mate! It'll soon get moved and you'll need to add some prices! :) £20 for the cat? If you bought the back box of eGay you must have an idea what its worth? How much is the roofrack new? then half the price? HTH
Blair 0 Posted January 9, 2006 I honestly can't remember how much I paid for the back box, no idea at all! Can't remember how much the roof rack was either - I did buy it new, it's only been used a couple of times. It was a "kit" - you bought the correct clamps for the car, then the standard roof bars on top. I wish I could remember both the above - it would give me an idea (like the cat) but then again, it doesn't matter how much you've paid for something - it's only ever worth the market rate.
