I know Nissan did it with a micra, think is was a 930 cc 8v 4 cylinder. It would do a 1/4 mile in about the same time as a VR!

 

the little known 'march super turbo' dont think there were many made, mad little machine but I dont think it pushed massive BHP.

There is a chap on here who is building something similar!

I popped round to his garage reciently and spotted a 2ltr 16v turbo + g60 using a audi 6a block on an engine stand in the corner! Should be interesting when its finished!!!

yep, but the charger hands over to the turbo at higher revs, bet that pipework is complex! not sure if the other examples of super and turbocharged engines work in that way.

Not_Aircooled_or_Taxfree, for stright-line fun yeah, it'd be a hoot.. its just pig ugly and, having owned a micra, you'd have to invest big bucks to get the chassis anywhere near good enough to be fun on the twisties!
