selbekk 0 Posted January 29, 2006 i need a new switch for mine, as I need to push it down as hell, and to the side a bit, to close it anyways.. I think there are tons of info already written on this subject, try the search or check the wiki.

bcstudent 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Mine does EXACTLY the same. It was fine before the winter but appears to dislike the cold weather and has gone on strike.

Mike Edwards 0 Posted January 29, 2006 It's possible that the microswitches in the motor/gearbox have developed a fault or that the switch has gone (check by borrowing these items from someone else), but my money would be on a mechanical fault resulting from lack of luberication (you have been lubing it haven't you???) bcstudent 0 Posted January 29, 2006 I think it just needs stripping and lubricating. My sunroof hasn't seen a drop of grease since I bought the car. I'm not really one for preventative maintenance.
