Stan 24v 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Dude, I think I am well qualified to give you some advice here. I had the same problem with my bottom end rattline. I took it to PSI tuning for Andy Walker to have a looksie. He found that when it was rebuilt by a dodgy garage, they only changed 5 shells instead of 6, and it was worn. He said the whole engine needed rebuilding and it would cost in the region of £2-2.5k. Or I could have a 2.8 V6 from a 4motion Golf for just under £3k - FITTED!!!! and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!! 8) I would recommend giving him a ring and having a word mate. He also lent me a car for the entire time he had my C in. If you want to know any more, click on the link in my sig and check it out.
