cuttiung audioscape pods

Ive brought some audioscape pods and are on the way but i need to cut speaker holes and window switch,

never delt with fibre glass before what the best way to go about it?

No - Audioscape will cut them tho but will need to know what size speakers... give them a call when you have the speaker size, the use a diamond wheel to cut...

lots of masking tape and a drill and jigsaw.

 

Sketch the hole required using a compass. Mask the leather effect material with a few layers of masking take. Drill and 10mm or so hole near the edge of the sketch, then jigsaw carefully the hole. Just go careful and use plenty of tape.

Instructions I gave are from Audioscape instruction sheet that comes with the uncut pods...... :scratch:

Use a compass and scribe the speaker cut out into the fibreglass. then gradually cut it out with a scalpel. It's the next best method after a proper diamond cutter.
