Jim 2 Posted February 5, 2006 lol - that white one looks almost the double of erics. Leccy recaro's though! To be honest something like that would be just the job.. but just not yet.. need a bit longer :)
Tempest 0 Posted February 5, 2006 looks almost the double of erics. Leccy recaro's though! Nah, still missing leccy seatbelts, cruise control, airco  Still a tidy car, and for 1000 quid, a real bargain  Go for it, store it somewhere in the meantime till you can afford to run it etc. (I don't think they'll come much cheaper than this), slowly even do some work on it, all at your own pace, while you keep on driving the Golf on a daily basis. That's how I'd do it :-) Took me about 5 months from import till actual registration with my Mk1 Rocco :-) Tempest
Trig 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Sold now :( Not suprised it went so fast, seller must not of known that the seats were worth so much.
Yandards 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Tidy car, sad that is more than likely to be broken up due to the seats. :(
steve_16v 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Tidy car, sad that is more than likely to be broken up due to the seats. :( Not necessarily, it's quite likely someone's bought it just to swap the seats for theirs. If it was closer to me I would have bought it, swapped the seats then sold it on. I reckon most people on here with standard cloth would do the same.
