dannyc 0 Posted February 7, 2006 Ayup guys, hopefully you can help me out. My C isn't starting at the mo and i think its the ignition switch. This is because for a while now when i turn the key to start it it wouldn't do anything, so i'd turn it back and try again and it would start. Sometimes it would take just one go and other times 3 or 4. Then the last couple of times i used it it took loads of attempts and now won't start at all. So the switch has finally packed in. I've bought a new switch from the sealers and attempted to fit it. I've removed all the trim around the steering wheel and i can see where it goes. I pulled out the plug that goes into the switch and plugged it into the new switch to make sure it was right. Now the bit i need to know is how to get the old ignition switch out cos its tucked up right inside the metal casing. do i need to take the steering wheel off? cheers danny
