There are lots here with the DDI gauges as there was a group buy some time ago. I remember being gutted that they were G60/VR6 only.

Those first ones are minging!! The DDI ones are nice though ;)

Those reverse glow (1st) gauges look the tits at night though, My sis drives a souped up Polo. 1 model down from a GTI? It has reverse glow dash. Well wicked at night. Also a woman I know has a 20v turbo Golf with same style dash. Ace at night.

Do early Corrado's have standard odometer clocks. ie/ My 60 has the digital dash. Those reverse gauges are made for standard clocks?

??

I used the ultra leds. v good, quick delivery and good instructions. The result aint bad either. Though You might need to ad an xtra filter behind the tacho and clock.

Hi.

those are infact reverse glow gauges as in my post. I think they are great. they work via an electrical connection and a power inverter that is supplied with the kit.

Do they do em in MPH as to KMH?

Anybody have em running?

Also in MPH 8)

clicky for the world's longest URL

DEL VR6, they are horrible. the connectors have a crap design. I just ended up taking the leds out of their sockets, and fit it to the original mountings. It's not worth the money though, it's not even worth changing the LEDs to be honest. just cut out a new light filter for the same effect for ten pence.

Ah downer CF.

I just realised those gauges don't have the speedo space for my digital readout. They are for standard odometer c's My clocks have digi on rev counter and speedo...

Sometimes you can get those on Ebay UK but in KPH. Still i'll keep looking.

I thought about those DDI gauges and about the needles not glowing.

I was going to try using 3 12v 5mm or 10mm UV leds with the DDI gauges.

The effect should be that they make your needles glow (if painted with red UV paint and still retain the white color that the gauges offer.)

If I can get the time to do this I will post pics. If anyone else would like to try it please post some up!

I had the same idea mate, think it would pick up anything white so it would make the oil, batt, etc pics light up too.

I just haven't been able to find any 12v UV LEDs though.

It'll be good to see how you get on.
