jam3383 0 Posted March 12, 2006 Hi all, seen a few people on here doing the led dash conversions thought id ave a go. Also done my handle's in red just like on the audi's, looks so much better. here's some pics I used different led's on a pcb board to give a more even spread of light, used the single 5mm an they gave to much of a spot light on the dash. These are the led's i used there called flux led's, ive got a few left if anybody wants a kit for 8.00GBP (includes p+p) to all corrado forum members. You'll get 3 of the below. Ive only got blue at the mo but will be getting more in about a month I'll be selling them for 20.00 GBP from my website http://www.customledswitches.com soon just gotta get some instructions made up and update the website with the corrado page. chubbybrown 0 Posted March 12, 2006 You should consider making a kit that does the Dash, heater controls and if poss the switches Ive considered doing this as it would match the pioneer stereo just lovely.
jam3383 0 Posted March 12, 2006 I thought about the heater controls & the later one's would be possible but the early slider type would'nt have enough room for leds. I had to cut alot of plastic away to fit the leds in. The switches would be a solder in yourself job so i only sell the switches allready converted or the led's to convert yourself. Bobby 0 Posted March 14, 2006 any more pics of the way you mounted the pcb board to the clock, i have done the blue leds to replace the bulbs but it looks a bit spotlight like you said , any ideas which wire is for illumination on the electric windows for a 1990 valver, as mine don't light up. CoxyLaad 0 Posted March 14, 2006 back lit ones have to be the ultimate, has no one attempted this before?
Blinky16v 0 Posted March 14, 2006 Bobby, I believe the following switches illuminate when the ignition is turned on (based on late spec interior): 1) Wing mirror adjustment pad 2) Electric window switches 3) Sunroof switch illumination Hope this helps! VRTrickster 0 Posted March 14, 2006 Looks nice mate ! I think Im going to keep mine more simple with retaining the green switchs heater etc,but changing the dial leds to zenon white and reversing the polarizing film on the leds! A lazy but effective option woulnt you say?
Bobby 0 Posted March 15, 2006 cheers blinky i was actually asking which wire is the illumination wire for the electric switch lights, back lit lights looked like a ball ache to do from when i had my clocks outs.

Hi mate i'll get some pics up this afternoon in work at the mo. As for the window wire's the black/blue wire is + and the brown/white wire is -. I used these wire's to connect the door handle led's. If you fitted led's to your elec window switches they are probably in the wrong way round, if not the standard geen led has blown so you might aswell fit led's as they will be brighter than the standard one's. It's also the same for the early models.
