g60greeny 0 Posted April 12, 2006 right i've got the chance of gettin a diesel mk1 golf for 50quid,been told it needs about 70quids worth of work doin to it for the mot,@ the the mo thats all the info i have oh apart from its black :D just wonderin if its gonna be worth botherin with or not? Riley 0 Posted April 12, 2006 itll be worth £50 all day,as far as the rear beam mounting points are good. 8) its the hardest/most expensive place to repair any rot on a mk1. fold the rear seat down and then pull it forward to check the boot floor/strut towers too,they can rot badly there... neil. :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
