double-6s 0 Posted May 18, 2006 Hi Slight problem with renewing my wiper motor..... I turned em on and after a bit of movement the nut holding the linkage to the base of the wiper motor just worked its way loose and came off. Should there be some sort of fancy thing with the nut? To allow the linkage to turn on the spline without the nut coming off? Eh???? Any thoughts? :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Lippy 0 Posted May 18, 2006 thats what happened to mine on Boxing day as I was driving back to my Mum's - what a bastard! Not sure how it works but managed to wedge it with some wire which has lasted 5 months and counting! Have bought spare motor and linkages in anticipation of failure.
