patience young man.........I was on the hunt for Recaro's from 2003.......even missed out on a set from a German spec C(that now resides in A1 VR6's C albeit retrimmed in Black hide)purely cos the guy selling them couldn't confirm whether the Biscuit colour he described it as being was the same as Beige leather :wink: .....but all good things come to those who wait :wink:

purpley-corrado-dude, yeh, never been that keen on green before. That said, I had a really nice pearl green 16v a couple of years ago. It's really grown on me. I just couldn't turn down the opportunity to get my hands on this one.

How is the retrim holding up? I've heard one or two reports of MJ's stitching etc coming undone after a couple of years. Yours looks top quality though.

Goldie, yeh, I've come to the conclusion that 15's look too small, but I prefer the drive, and I also love Speedlines. 16's are prob the best option, but would need to be something in the Speedline mould. OEM+.

To be honest, don't know if I'd change the wheels if I had a Storm. Think I'd want to keep it as it was. Then again, I suppose you could just keep the Solitudes safe in the garage so they'd always be there if needed.

 

And as for the seats- if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Yours are 8)

I've still got my Solitudes stashed away(well they are on a mate's Mk3 temp).......but I think the Corrado deffo suits BBS RX/RX2's more just a pity VW didn't fit them as standard...........tho Ive just got myself a set of Speedlines as thats another classy wheel

If i ever do change the rims for mine i want the BBS splits that OSV has on his Stunning Rado (without the black centres).

 

I think theyd look great and in keeping with the OEM+ look.

 

My plans this year is coilies, exhaust and a schrick. Think thall keep me going for a while.

For the time being.

 

It's had a full head rebuild, so a charger may be tempting further down the line. Bit of a pipe dream at the mo though! Have thought about a Schrick, but think I'd rather put the money towards a S/C instead.

 

Think the only thing I'll be doing in the near future is maybe replacing the K & N for a Carbonio or BMC kit.

They do, if you zoom in on the pic youll see the orange stripes.

 

These arent the GB ones, i painted them myself. I bought a "go faster stripe" that was 3mm wide and used that to mask the indicators and reverse lights.

Think I'll probably buy the GB tints and cut some thin strips out. Can't be bothered to paint yet another set of lights!

Looks very nice fella! Did consider a VR to use as the daily hack before I bought the LCR and now I'm getting that I'm not sure how the futures looking for the C :?
