Craig 0 Posted June 1, 2006 had a great day yesterday getting the c chipped at g-werks but as usual something had to break and id literally been home for 10 seconds and adjusted the blower from the window position to the vent position on the left and something snapped so now the vent doesnt adjust and blow out of the air vents! i took the panel off and the cable dissapears behind the dash somewhere so i took off the plastic surrounding the clocks and couldnt see where it went or have a clue how to even access it! has anyone got any ideas how to fix this or is it stuck here for ever blowing on my feet! cheers

VDUBBER 0 Posted June 8, 2006 If you take the pannel off the drivers side of the dash next to the clutch you can see the cog's. You cant realy get to them, to replace them but you can move it so they blow on your wind screen and superglue it in place. it worked on mine. But then i got a new c so never got it fixed properly hope this helps?
Craig 0 Posted June 8, 2006 VDUBBER, cheers! ill give it a go when ive got some time! better than nothing as with the blower on my feet they get a right roasting!
billinjah 0 Posted June 8, 2006 it might be the cable itself that has snapped they are fiddly to do but half an hour tops less if you have small hands! if it is the cogs they are easy just remove the pass under tray see which one is broken order a new one then bung it on nothing to it they just snap in.
