biggerbigneil 0 Posted September 29, 2006 My baby has passed the MOT today! I have just been for a spin – absolutely perfect! ABS fault was a valve in the main ABS unit. There is one for each wheel and the front right connector (which we thought was a wheel speed sensor) showed up on the diagnostics as the culprit. So this took a lot longer than anticipated… Purchased on the 1st of June Ride/handling rectified by refurbishment of Speedlines and four new tyres ABS light sorted by changing a valve Changed header tank Magnex cat back system Sourced interior parts Fixed electrics/alarm/lights Performance sorted by full service – plugs etc Bodywork fixed up using a lot of products – clay bar etc Now on the 29th of September and 2 MOT tests later she can be driven! Only problem is there is a soon approaching Biggerbig house purchase with Ben and possibly Hugo so this or the Beamer must go if not both : - ( Better enjoy her while I can! biggerbigneil 0 Posted October 9, 2006 Don't be shy making offers :-) She must be sold by December and has 12 months MOT and TAX is negotiable. FVWSH to 124k and serviced by myself and Hugo a month ago. Alloys are refurbished by Pristine, tyres are new as are disks and pads. Engine is rebuilt, exhaust is Magnex and the exterior and interior are now very clean - what more could you want! I can never be bothered to leave bad feedback because I don't want any on my own. Should really have put the car on autotrader, just thought it was so expensive to advertise.
