NormanCoal 0 Posted June 19, 2006 my VR6 engine, but unsure of how much they go for. Mods, this isnt a for sale advert, and please anyone reading dont PM me regarding this. Its a v late 2.9 from a N plate rado, covered 105K miles, and has had timing chains, and headgasket done along with other bits. I am considering selling it as I may have a deal coming off to get me something a little better, but I havent a clue what its worth Am thinking of somewhere between 500-1K, whats the right sort of ballpark? Advice please - (and once again, no PM's or anything related to this, as its not definitely for sale as yet) Muchos thankyou's
Colley 0 Posted June 19, 2006 I would have thought your get 1k relativly easily for it seeing its had bits and bobs done for it and VR engines are quite popular for conversions still
chrishill 0 Posted June 19, 2006 fairly low miles with the chains done if it has a good service history, I reckon around £800 for the engine alone, but depending on what you're fitting you might be able to sell it as a package including the bits you wont need - loom, ecu, gearbox and so on to get more dosh.
