Help!! Bournemouth area garages? Coolant probs!!

Right, the water pumps had a slow drip coming from it for a while now, tried some sealant liquid you put in the expansion tank but think this may have blocked the pipe or created an air lock, but the drip did stop. now the car steams from the expansion cap after 10 mins driving! ive thought about draining the coolant but a) i have little knowledge and b) crap tools such as jack etc! now the pumps started to drip again all of a sudden.

 

Basically im fed up and want a decent garage that knows there stuff if the water pump needs replacing but also are reasonably priced! i have basically no mechanical knowledge and am jst getting annoyed now!!

 

or if anyone in the area is pretty clued up and can lend a hand then that is also most welcome! cheers, craig.

well i can get about a bit so not too urgent! ? but rather sooner than later, i also pm'd some others i found from bmuff, if anyones up for a meet anytime id be up for it when the cars sorted!!! :)

hello mate, i use regan vw at the end of my road Cardigan Road, they are honest straight to the point and very good, if they give you a quote they do not go over it. they did my aux water pump.

 

I always use them and they are open saturdays unitl 1 oclock

be better if it had one of darrens big valve heads and a fmic!! imagine your vr is an animal, would love to hava go in one, we'll have to do a sort of wife swap for the day :lol:

Its easy to miss Regan, If you drive down cardigan road (from winton high stree) you will see the show room next to the kebab and pizza shop, i think you can get in throught the show room but to drop the car off you need to turn down waterloo road, then take another right before you get to waitrose

I have used Hines vw specialist in Ferndown for both my golfs and they have been pretty reasonable on price.......... i bought one of my golfs fom the guy........ it was a geat litle runner!!!!! :confused4: not that you care!!!
