Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 19, 2006 Smooth Peanut butter is the best thing for exterior rubbers and plastics apparently! The peanut crumbs kind of scour the surface of junk and the oil that's left behind gives a nice sheen.....so i've heard!
Supercharged 2 Posted July 19, 2006 Yep, I love a bit of Sun-pat on me exterior rubbers... prefer it on a slice of M&S malted bread tho...
vwdeviant 0 Posted July 20, 2006 Kev, I think you need to lay off the hallucinogenics :Fade-color I find a toothbrush works best to get the usual green lichen/moss that gathers on rubbers followed by Black Trim Wax, a bit messy but good finish. Walesy 0 Posted July 20, 2006 I heard peanut butter was good, but I prefer marmilade so I tried using that and things got a bit sticky. Now I just go for 'Autoglym Bumper Gel' Icegeezer, I find it's pretty darn good.
