9x16 borbets,what size tyres u recommend?

205/40 or 215/35 will be the right tyre but unless you are keeping standard height 215/40 will rub unfortunately.

right................so i'll be ok we the 205/40/16's?

thinkin of payin the extra for goodyears aswell

 

yep you will be fine with them and they iwll look fab.

 

Its up to you on the tyres, the zz3s are fab.

just looked on there aswell,nothin on there either really?

 

how much diff would 205/45/ look,they had plenty of choice in that size?

215/40-16 - overall diameter=578mm

205/40-16 - overall diameter=570mm

 

So the difference in radius is half that, 4mm.

If you really need the extra 4mm clearance then get the 205s, if not, get the 215s (which seem to be much more common, and cheaper too).

 

All depends on how low you want to go I guess...

Oh, and 205/45-16 come out as 591mm overall diameter, so they're bigger than the 215/40s

 

There's always 195/40s but I reckon that's just a silly stretch on a 9" rim, imo...

ended up gettin the kumhos as they were the only ones the garage could get in 205/40/16,quite pleased we them anyway,not too stretched
