Dilemma........................

Ok here it is I have a bit o a dilemma. :oops:

I have a bit more thn a grand to spend. :lol:

Do I

 

1- treat the missus to a good holiday.......

2- spend it on the c

 

Bearing in mind she dosnt know I have it :lol:

 

Thing is the c could do with a respray but I dont really have the time to do it at the mo as she is my daily driver.

Would a grand make that much more diffrence for the engine.

 

At the mo she has...

Stg 4 charger.

sns chip.

jabba induction.

Smaller pulley.

New wheels.

Coilovers.

And has been given a clean bill of health by the boys at RK

.

 

Advice.......... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Why not split it in half?

 

Take the missus away for a posh spa weekend or short holiday in Europe somewhere, and treat your car to something? :)

 

That way you keep both ladies happy :D

Not much use down here on these cornish roads though. And although sh has had a clean bill of health she's about to hit 160 thou miles :oops:

I see your point though. I'm going to try it in the near future.

 

 

 

But if no NOS, what about a rear strut brace and fat anti roll bar? 300 for the pair. And something left over for her indoors :)

Any maintainance stuff that needs doing? How about a new exhaust?

 

If its a G60 what about the twin inlet mods thing...

 

Could hunt out a good FMIC for £500....

Front mount is what I am thinking...........

Exuast has been done so got that covered.

What sort of gains would the front mount do for her. As I know that I have a bit of a boost leak coming from the old one.

Hm.. hard to say as I got my old G60 with a Golf G60 FMIC already fitted.

 

I believe it does help the system breathe a lot better and therefore you will get some noticable gains, but it helps deliver consistent power - therefore when weather is warmer etc and traditionally the crappy Corrado G60 IC suffers from huge heatsoak issues the large FMIC will cope with that and help keep power consistent regardless of the conditions.

 

Everyone who puts on an FMIC is a happy chappy.. so I don't think you'd go too far wrong with one!

What intercolers would everyone reccomend to fit. Dont want to do too much cutting and have been looking for a golf one for a while. Seem to be about as rare as rocking horse poo. :lol:

Your car goes really nicely mate, I think the money would be spent better on sorting out the niggles with the bodywork ( i.e the roof! )

 

Otherwise, take Sue away! you could both do with a break :lol:

Ill just thrown this one into the mixer for consideration...

If not, then I'd source a big fat IC. And try and mount it where the Number plate recess is. I think that looks sick.

 

 

Mod Edit: No need to swear and try and get round the swear filter. Just don't swear in the first place.

As i've said before Tim.... the 'rado is crying out for a big front mount i/c. The golf G60's always make a lot more on the rolling road and i think its mostly down to the front mount

I'd agree with the both thing, but you only need a little for a holiday... Have you seen how cheap they are at the moment?

No-one wants to fly, so it's all cheap cheap cheap!

 

Use the rest on the i/c ;)
